Created in December 2000 serving Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Victoria County with a population base of 113,928. Has played an instrumental role in program development for the entire province continuing to assist leadership efforts in development of “Employment Excellence in Nova Scotia: Abilities@Work.” Hosted 4th annual “Diversity @Work” Breakfast with more than 560 participants, mainly from the business community. Employer Innovation Council for Persons with Disabilities. Projected 275 clients for interventions for 2008/09.
